The garden this year ha been terrific. So much more productive than past years. I'm not sure if the amended soil or the sprinklers, or both, but it has been so much fun to watch it flourish.
The boysenberries did really well. I ended up with five gallon bags full of berries in the freezer. I've been experimenting to find the best cobbler recipe. So far, berry dump cake while camping is the winner.
After their producing season, I cut them all back and now they are ready to start the process all over again for next year.
The corn was fun to watch. I really felt like a farmer as it got taller and taller.
The ears only filled out half way, but they were delicious!
The potatoes were excellent! I've had them in stew, hashed browns, and fried potatoes.
Also successful were the tomatoes, cucumbers, and onions.
