18!! They are 18!! They are officially adults!! Oh my. I'm not ready for this. We went to Benihana's for dinner and then home for cake and presents to celebrate all three birthdays. Highlight of the evening had to be Emma getting her Viking horn after wanting one for years. It was hilarious watching her try to get a sound out of it. Even Wyatt, with his brass expertise had trouble. I guess it's a learned skill?
The other day Amy mentioned that Owen was going to his first stake dance!! How could this be? He's not old enough. But, yes, he is. Officially, he is 14 and old enough to to go to dances, and prepare the sacrament, and go to high school. He's my baby, my youngest grandchild, and I want to time to stop moving so fast. Happy birthday Owen.
I have almost completed my original bucket list, and I'm certainly not even close to be ready to meet my maker, so I decided I needed to come up with some more ideas. As you can see, I added quite a few fun things, but I have room to add more. Any bright ideas?
It took a little over 3 months, but the day finally arrived...sod!! It looks beautiful...only one problem, well, actually two. Ramon didn't order the gofer screen for the side yard, and he didn't order enough sod!! He ordered 2500 sq ft., but looks like we need an additional 1400 sq ft. The good news is now we can order the gofer screen and install it before the new sod next week!!
It started raining Sunday afternoon, and didn't stop until early today. Lots and lots of rain. My very unofficial rain gauge said 6 inches, but Todd's much more official gauge said over 9 inches! Today, beautiful blue skies and beautiful snow in the mountains.
