COVID 19--Quarantine Update

The world is slowly beginning to open up and with it, it seems my life is getting busier.  I spent some time this month deep cleaning mom's bedroom--going through drawers and closets, cleaning baseboards,  touching up paint, and washing curtains.  It doesn't look a whole lot different, but it feels cleaner.

I also went on a couple of fun walks.  I couldn't believe how the sand at the beach had erroded...

and I couldn't believe I had never walked at the HB Central Park before!

Luke's swim season was streamed, so I could watch from home.  He did great.  And an added bonus...I saw Todd because he was at poolside helping out!

And, I got the cutest Valentine treat from a friend!!

It was a good month!!

Today this little baby turned 11.  Ihave no clue how that happened!  

He started his day with birthday pancakes and a Facetime call from me.

.After dinner, it was presents and cake.  Happy birthday, sweetheart.

Valentine's Day

 Happy Valentine's Day.  Amy's family came for the weekend, so we had fun planning a fun day

For breakfast, she shaped cinnamon rolls into hearts...add a few strawberries and voilà!  So yummy!.

In the after noon we made wonderful cookies.

And dinner was fun and delicious. 

Monday's Memory--spinner

One of my goals this year is to deep clean a room each month.  I started with mom's bedroom.  As I was cleaning out her closet, I found this spinner in the top of her closet.  I remember when she had her classroom create these for Mother's Day.  She had an aide, Geneva, who helped cut out the 2 liter bottles and the kids painted them.  When I showed Amy, she said to save it for her.  I think it may find a place in her back yard!!
