I can't believe it's been six months of this craziness. With no end in sight!
Things are opening up a little. This is my nail salon! Outdoors! So they can stay in business. I haven't been back, but I'm glad they found a way to reopen. Restaurants are erecting big tents so they can serve people. Some stores are opening up in parking lots. So many people are getting creative to keep the economy working. Outside is safer than being indoors.
My garden is becoming productive. Probably 15 pints of beans are canned and ready for dinners. The best, however, were the potatoes. We had several nights of hash browns and they were delicious!
School is in full swing. One day, Amy needed to get the kids out of the house, so they came here for the day. I was impressed with both the teacher's ability to hold the kids attention and the kids willingness to engage. Owen started out at his "desk", but ended up all over the house, the back of Wyatt's chair, the dining room table with Emma, and several beds. Emma took her PE class seriously, exercising outside with the teacher.
Somehow, three puzzles got completed this month. The top one was wooden with very strange shapes. It went together quickly, in one afternoon at Amy's house. Maybe it was all the extra help!
And every once in a while we get a reminder that God is good!!
