Ethel Kimura has been a good friend of mine for over 40 years. She actually was Todd and Amy's babysitter/preschool teacher when I first went back to work. Her husband, Reid, had been an on again, off again member of the church, mostly off again for most of that time. Something clicked with him a couple of years ago and he became very active, and has remained so these past few years. Well, Ethel suffered a pretty severe stroke a year ago and Reid has really stepped up taking care of her. And today, they went to the temple to be sealed. It was a very special morning and I was privileged to share in their joy. As Melanie, their daughter said, "Do you believe in miracles? Yes."
