Many, many years ago, my mom talked dad into making this Christmas door. The vision was to also create a larger version for the garage door with a pine cone boarder, but that never happened. Anyway, for years, Christmas found this door attached to the front door, welcoming all visitors. It plugged in and the stars shone in varied colors and was actually quite pretty. However, it got retired several years ago, when we changed from a wood door to a metal door, and there wasn't a way to attach it. This was probably a good thing because it was starting to look pretty ragged.
