Emma wanted to open her mission call at home, so she made a quick trip. She actually waited FOUR days to find out where she was goining, and she assured me she didn't cheat! She had lots of family and friends gather to make wrong guesses. Mine was to Nauvoo. I think she would have been awesome at the visitors center and participating in the reenactments. We were all wrong...Guam!! We had to look that one up. She’ll be serving for 18 months in the Micronesia Guam mission, English speaking (though we learned that each island speaks a different language which she’ll learn when she gets there). She starts the home MTC on June 30 and reports to the Provo MTC on July 9th. Her first comment, "I'm not going to be cold!"
She is going to be amazing...she is ready...and the people of Guam are lucky.
