Many, many years ago one of mom's students parent painted her a picture of an old school house, complete with the name of the school, and "Mrs. P" on the chalkboard by the front door. for a while, it was hung in the dining room.
Then, it hung in mom's bedroom, kinda out of the way and forgotten. After mom passed, Todd wanted that picture. He had it reframed and now it is hanging in his hallway right by the stairs going down to the basement. It's perfect and it's so much fun to see it come to life again.
