Spring Break

Day 1

A quick and cold trip to the beach.  Evidently we missed the two hour window of nice weather!

Day 3

A not so quick and much nicer weather trip to Disneyland.

Big Thunder Mountain

Several months ago, they announced that they were bringing back the Electric Parade for a short time. It didn't disappoint. Starting with the iconic music and all the way through,  it brought back so many wonderful memories and tears to my eyes..

Day 4 and 5

The Great Wolf Lodge was awesome.

There was a fun dance party...

...and the kids loved their own, private space in the room, including a TV!

But, the big draw was the water park.

                    When the inside air got too much for us, we enjoyed some sunshine outside.

 Day 6

Saturday found us at home again, working on my front yard.  Thanks to gofers, poor sprinkler placement, and the drought, the section of lawn by the front door looked pretty bad.  Today we removed the bad grass and installed new sod.  The entire lawn also got irritated and reseeded.

What am I going to do next week when everyone goes back to school?!
