The much anticipated day finally arrived...Carson was baptized today. He was joined by two of his friends, and they all were so excited, their faces were priceless. I was especially impressed by a talk by Todd on the Holy Ghost. He reminded the kids of a camping trip they had all been on last year. One night, long after dark, they took a hike to look for snakes. It was so dark, they had to use a flashlight to look for dangers that could be on the path. Todd compared the flashlight to the Holy Ghost, who allows us to see more clearly the dangers that come our way during life. It was a great object lesson, and I think the kids really got the point.
Congratulations, Carson. I couldn't be more proud of you and the choice you made today.
