We planned out trip to have some time to enjoy one park again before our flight home, so we chose to revisit Epcot and see some things we missed the first time, mainly the aquarium. We also got a second ride on Guardians of the Galaxy. This time, I kept my eyes open!!! This Guardians isn't like the one in California Adventure. It's a rollar coaster.
Daytona Beach-we decided to rest our little footsies and find some cooler weather. I have never seen a beach like this. You drive right on the sand and park just across from the water. A man came driving up, drilled a hole in the sand and set up an umbrella and chairs. It was heaven. A cool breeze and water on our toes. The water was amazingly warm, so we spent some time enjoying it. We took a walk to the pier to get some ice cream, and then it was time to head home. Disney Springs-Take two. We wanted to see the drone show, so we went back. And this time we had success!! It was absolutely amazing. #total steps 16,548 #total miles 6.85
what a fun place. The Safari was so cool. Seeing so many animals out and in the open. Pandora was beautiful. And the ride was breathtaking. The line was the longest I’ve ever been in…a little over two hours!! But so worth it. And Amy kept bringing us snacks and drinks, so totally doable. The Lion King show was fun. And then there was Mt Everest!! I wasn’t going to go in it because it looked like the Matterhorn, and that one hurts my back. But I was reassured that this one was smooth, so I got in line. Oh My Gosh!! I screamed the entire time. Backwards!? And fast!! Did I mention BACKWARDS??!! Favorite ride-How do you choose? Favorite treat-churro. the hottest and most humid day yet! But we braved the heat and spent the day riding rides, watching shows, and eating and drinking our way through the different areas. Loved the look of Toy Story Land, but still came in last at Toy Story Mania! Rise of the Resistance broke down, so we didn’t get to ride that one. Favorite ride-Run Away Railroad. Favorite treat-drinks in Olga’s Cantina. Favorite experience-Fantasmic. Or meeting Chewie. Or eating in a car at a drive in. Too many to choose from!!! #total steps-15,460 #total miles-6.33
Disney World—day 2–Coco Beach—took the day off from the parks and enjoyed a day at the beach. The water was warm and the sand was blistering!! In the evening we went to Disney Springs. Think Downtown Disney on steroids. It’s huge and so, so many people. We wanted to see the new drone show, along with everyone else in Florida, but it was cancelled due to battery problems!!
