Happy Birthday Todd

Todd was in Winnipeg for his birthday, so evidently there are no pictures!  I may just have to fake a picture next time in Utah!

Yep, that's what I did!  I went to the store and brought home some ding dongs, orange cupcakes, Twinkies

, and zingers.  We all sang to him and then the Johnson's sang in Portugese!  Happy late birthday, sweetheart.

California Adventure

We still had two more days on our Disneyland passes and time was running out, so the kids played sick (cough, cough, hack, hack) and off we went.
We managed to park the very furthest away from the escalators!

The park wasn't too crowded, so we managed to get on everything we wanted,
 some of them several times!

Amy bought a new headband, but it ended up hurting her head, so Emma inherited it!

We saw the new show, Frozen, and I talked myself into going on the big ferris wheel!  We stayed to the bitter end so we could see the water show.  A very fun, tiring day.

Happy Birthday Claire

Happy Birthday Claire Bear!

I didn't realize that Claire has a birthday tradition of going to the book store and buying a new book for her birthday.  This was this years purchase.

Sea World for Free!!!

Sea World offers teachers a sweet deal:  the teacher and two guests get into the park for free!  So, Amy and I took advantage of this offer and we all got in for free.

I think the kids favorite thing is to pet the manta rays.

This was kinda creepy...the fish are eating all of the dead skin off Todd's hand!

Tiger Choir

Due to time commitments, Amy encouraged Emma not to join Show Stoppers this year.  Instead, she joined the choir, which took much less time.  And Emma was fine with that decision until the day of the performance.  Emma loves to be out in front, entertaining, and it was really hard for her to watch her friends sing and dance and not be with them. But, she did a great job with the choir, even having a solo in one of the songs.  By the end of the concert, she forgot her troubles and really "rocked out".

Volleyball Season

Emma enjoyed another season of volleyball.  She got more confident as the season progressed and really enjoyed her time on the team.
