New Year's Goals 2015

As I look at last years goals, I'm afraid I didn't do very well.  Well, I did OK in some areas.  My spiritual goal was to make fasting more meaningful.  I did pretty well, especially when attending the temple, fasting.  Many times, I really felt the guidance of the Lord.
My physical goal was to enter 2 5K's...check.  I actually participated in several; the Costa Mesa 5K, the HB 5K, a color run with Amy and the family, and Amy's school district 5K.  But the other half of my physical goal was to reach and maintain my goal weight.  I didn't even get close to my goal weight.
My social goal was to recognize my friends birthdays throughout the year.  I made it half way but then got bogged down and quit.  I did, however work on my relationship with my brothers.  There were several phone calls, and when they were in town, time was spent enjoying them.
As before, I've spent much time deciding what I wanted to accomplish this year.  I'm the most excited about my spiritual goal.  This year I am going to study the Book of Mormon by watching the BYUTV program, "Discussions on the Book of Mormon", and seeing where it takes me.  I'll take notes and read the scriptures discussed.
My social goal is to be more proactive with social media.  I will like and comment more on friends posts and wish my friends a happy birthday.  I'm hoping that I can continue this more than a few months.
My physical goal is again reach and maintain my goal weight.  I know that this is a big goal, but I also know that I feel much happier when I have my weight under control.  I think it's worth a second shot!

Ya Gotta Love the Beach

We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day for the beach, sunny and warm.  The kids had a great time riding the boggie boards, playing in the sand, playing football, and just being goofy.
