Disneyland Day 3

 Using my last Disneyland pass today. Me and a million others.  I have loved going t Disneyland during the holiday season.  Today I went to California Adventure for a little while and rode Monster's Inc because they are closing it down to put a new attraction in.  I wanted to say goodbye to Sulley and Mike! Also Soarin', just because I love it.  I saw the Christmas parade...if you want to call it that.  Actually, it was only a few characters walking down the street, stopping every few feet to do a little dance.  Pluto was cute, though.  I saw the parade again, and this time, Santa waved hello to me! And I loved all of the cute poses the photographers had me make.  What a fun day.

Mission Inn

 I had heard that the Mission Inn was a terrific place to go see Christmas lights, so Amy and I decided to have a mother/daughter date night.  After some time in the Redlands temple doing sealings, we made our way to Riverside.  It did not disappoint.  It was so beautiful.  And our brisket sandwich at Hero's was the perfect end to our evening.  Delicious  Just watch out for the pickles #mymouthburnedforever

Disneyland at Christmas

 A couple of months ago I bought a special 3 day pass for Disneyland that included Halloween and Christmas.  I used one day when Todd was here and got to see Halloween.  Today was Christmas.  I love love Disneyland at Christmas time.  It's just magical.  Today it was all about the ambiance.  I really didn't care how many rides I went on, I wanted to experience Christmas.  I took advantage of the photo pass and got some fun pictures.

The Haunted Mansion was all decked out...

Small World was wonderful.  I don't care how many times I go on that ride, it's always enjoyable.

But the best was the parade.

Monday's Memory--Disneyland, May 2017

 A high school friend sent me a thumb drive that he borrowed from me when we were working on our class reunion.  When I opened it up, it had pictures from May, 2017 from a Disneyland trip.  The kids look so young.  

How Old Am I?!

 Any of my fellow retired music teachers remember this baby?! I was recently tasked with cleaning out an old church closet containing years of music. Look what I found!! Good news. You can still get one on Amazon for just under $20 if you want one. The problem might be finding the chalk and blackboard 🤪🤪🤪

4 Pearsons plus 1

 

Mel has been awfully good about coming home every couple of months.  He comes for a round or two of golf and a get together with everyone else.  This past weekend he was in town, but most every body else wasn't.  Gale was in Buffalo, and Amy and family were in Colorado.  The rest of us had a great lunch, visiting and laughing.  It seems we talk a lot more about our ailments and problems than we used to!!  I can't help but think that mom was smiling down on us...still together...and speaking!!!
