I was chatting on the phone with Todd about birthday ideas, when he asked how grandma was doing. I told him her walking was getting more difficult and I wasn't sure what was going to happen. He called back an hour later, asking if I could pick him up from the airport the next day!! He was concerned about grandma and wanted to get down here for a visit while she was still at home.
What a wonderful visit. We spent some time getting my garden ready for the year. For Mother's Day, he brought potato starts, onion starts, new sprinklers, and a soil testing kit from Utah.
Not only did we get all of that planted, but we amended the soil and planted corn, beets, tomatoes, strawberries, and beans.
