Cookies, Cookies, Cookies!

I think today was when it really hit me that Todd's family wasn't coming down for Christmas, only the second time in 21 years!!  We made and decorated cookies for Santa and my neighbors, so we made just as many as always, but only half the people to help!!  

Side note: Todd met Todd and Kathy in Saint George that afternoon to exchange presents and pick up the surprise puppy, so I sent some up to them.  However, after talking with Todd the next day, evidently they didn't make it up to Provo!!  Todd and Kathey enjoyed them on the drive home!

Night of Lights

Amy saw an ad for this event and thought it would be a fun, safe way for Grandma to join in on the Christmas fun. Once we got in, it was almost an hour of driving through the OC Fair parking lot with thousands of displays and lights.  It was much better than I thought it would be.

Beach Day

 We took advantage of a beautiful afternoon and went to the beach.

Naples

 I love it when Amy's family comes over for a few days, especially at Christmas.  I get to participate in their advent activities.  Todays was to walk around Naples, looking at the Christmas lights.  So beautiful!!

"Christmas Eve" Desserts

 Darn that COVID!!  Christmas Eve needed to be tweaked to keep everyone safe.  So, Milo, Gale, Mark, and Kris came over for an afternoon dessert.  Gifts were exchanged, yummy desserts were eaten, and lots of talk and laughter could be heard!!  We even Facetimed Mel so he wouldn't be left out!

Grinch Dinner

 I love Amy's Grinch Dinner...Hoo Hash, Santy Hats, Hoo Punch, and of course Roast Beast!  So good, and so much fun.  Owen read us the story this year, and Amy was the Grinch!
