Usually, seeing a picture sparks a memory, and I want to write about it. But, last week, it was the other way around. I was in a sealing session in the temple, sitting between Barbara Davis and Bonnie Armstrong, two of my oldest, dearest friends. As I sat there, so many memories involving these two women came flooding into my mind, I just had to share some of them.
I remember sitting on the edge of a Jacuzzi, both Barb and I very pregnant, comparing our bellies, and taking Lamaze classes together. I remember Bonnie riding up to our house on the back of Tom's motorcycle, one of the first times we met. I remember going over to her house to do crafts together, and serving in the primary presidency for many years together. I remember being in Barb's relief society presidency and going to visit new sisters. I remember both of them being in my young women's presidency and how Barb would cry every time we read stories, trying to plan a YW sacrament meeting.
And our friendships just got stronger as our boys became best friends. They did everything together, supported each other, and loved each other unconditionally. Each one, in turn, had two best men at their wedding. Todd even named his two boys after them, Tayson DAVIS and Luke JASON.

When I got home from the temple, I just had to find this picture, one of all of us, taken at JJ's wedding. I love these people, they are family to me.
